Notes
After a beautifully warm but excessively dry summer, harvest began three weeks early. It was a stunning vintage with pristine fruit, small berries, and great concentration. Hand harvested from our single cane, high density planted vines, in a hot pocket site grown at the top of our Brookby Hill Vineyard. The fruit was fermented in an open top tank and a clay amphora with 30% whole bunch clusters. The wine was then lightly pressed into 25% new and seasoned French oak barrels and aged for 11 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes
Lifted aromas of blueberry and mulberry combine with black sigar box and coffee bean to create a smoky character on the nose. The palate is in the savoury spectrum with bright dark fruit and perfumed flavours shining through. This wine is bright and fresh with chalky tannins, silky mouthfeel and great energy.
